Isopan and Manni Green Tech Renew Their Support for the Pininfarina Academy Summer School to Foster Innovation in Off-Site Architecture

Once again, Isopan and Manni Green Tech have joined the Pininfarina Academy Summer School as sponsors. The international advanced training programme focuses on Advanced Design and DfMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) in Architecture and is aimed at recent graduates in architecture, building engineering, product design and related disciplines.

The initiative provides a valuable opportunity to strengthen the dialogue between academia and industry, promoting design expertise centred on innovation, digitalisation and new approaches to construction.

As part of the programme, Isopan and Manni Green Tech delivered a dedicated lecture entitled "Incremental Innovation in Off-Site Building Envelopes: Building with Light Steel Frame and Sandwich Panels." The session was presented by Simone Ferraioli, Business Development Manager at Manni Green Tech, and Grazia Marrone, Assistant Professor, Ph.D. at Politecnico di Milano, on behalf of Isopan.

The lecture explored the role of off-site technologies in the evolution of building envelopes, highlighting how construction systems such as Light Steel Frame and sandwich panels can help make the building process more efficient, industrialised and design-driven. Through technical insights and practical case studies, participants gained a deeper understanding of an approach that integrates design, manufacturing and construction into a seamless process.
